Impact Austin is an Austin-based women’s collective giving organization, funding Central Texas nonprofits that provide services in Bastrop, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties.
Annual Meeting
2024 Annual Meeting applauded our past, celebrated the present, and announced future directions for Impact Austin. We celebrated our members, too, for making possible our $8.84 million community impact. With the theme “Empowering Tomorrow,” the event program considered how Impact Austin members will continue to empower local nonprofits and our own organization so that we thrive as an important funder in Central Texas.
Discovery Day
Discovery Day 2024 was a joyful return to in-person learning after three years of virtual philanthropy education events. The event featured 11 powerhouse speakers among three sessions.
Town Hall
It’s no surprise: Town Hall Meeting 2023 was a busy and information-filled event! We heard outcomes, updates, feedback, and reports. The highlight of any signature event will always be our grant awards, and this event was no different in that regard. We love getting to be a part of such meaningful work.

Town Hall 2022
Impact Austin’s virtual Town Hall was inspiring! We celebrated $226,200 in total grants being issued, and our very own Margaret Von Flatern was welcomed to the Board Class of 2022.
Bite-Size Learning Session
FVF Law was home grown in Austin. We get great deal of satisfaction from supporting local nonprofits because this is OUR community. We are proud supporters of Impact Austin and even prouder of our COO, Margaret Von Flatern for her involvement with this amazing organization that has given almost $8 million in grant funding to the Austin community since 2003. Margaret recently moderated Impact Austin’s Bite-Size Learning Session discussing: “What motivates busy women to join Impact Austin?”.
