Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas keeps families with critically ill or injured children together when they are in the hospital. FVF prepares dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House on a quarterly basis.
Birthday Lunch!
It may have been his birthday, but Dave was determined not to miss helping with our lunch service! We say it all the time, but these days really are the highlight of our week every time we go.
Lunch For An Eclipse?
Elizabeth claims to have come into town for the eclipse … but we know it was really because she missed serving at Ronald McDonald House! Either way, we loved getting to see her and serve alongside her.
Simply Delicious!
Who would have known simple egg roll bowls would have been such a hit? We loved hearing that folks all the way up on the 4th floor could smell the delicious dinner our FVF team was cookin’!
Summer Lunch!
The team is out here serving culinary brilliance with a side of laughter and love. Such a fun and simple summer meal! Sandwiches and fruit salad with a little pasta salad on the side. We love our times here. Hearts and bellies are full!
Spring Dinner!
Dinner time! This week we cooked up some delicious pasta, balsamic chicken, and a side salad. As always, such a privilege to volunteer with RMHC.
Serving at RMHC!
Can’t we just do this everyday?! We had such a blast last week volunteering at the RMHC. Glazed sandwiches and yummy soup! We love our partnership with them, and it’s always the highlight of our week when we get to visit. Already ready for next time!

Caitlyn, Samantha, Rachel and Schriee made chicken tenders, an abundance of mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade honey mustard, and assorted veggies for dinner in April at the Ronald McDonald House!

RMHC is (finally!) welcoming back groups of four to prepare meals, so Team FVF has been back in the kitchen! Kelly, Schriee, Sarah, and Caitlyn had a great time at RMHC making nutritious meals for families with sick kiddos at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Bandana Ball
FVF was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Virtual Bandana Ball. Features included music from The Spazmatics, a live auction, as well as some special appearances.
Mask and Glove Donations
To keep the families at the Ronald McDonald House safe during the pandemic, FVF did what we could to help from a distance with surgical masks and gloves. In addition, we donated 1500 n95 masks to Dell Children’s Medical Center to ensure medical professionals had the necessary equipment to serve the RMHC families.
