The History of Bee Cave in Texas
Bee Cave, Texas, got its start in the early 1850s, when some of the first white settlers moved into the area. They named the region after a large swarm of Mexican honey bees living in one of the caves by the creek banks. Two decades later, a post office opened under the name “Bee Cave,” and the town was born.
By the 1880s, Bee Cave was a thriving settlement, boasting a general store, a school, a church, a gristmill, and a cotton gin. The population waxed and waned over the decades, and by the 1980s, there were about fifty Bee Cave residents. The village was incorporated in 1987 and became a town in 2006. By this time, it had grown to include schools, parks, and a public library.
Today, about 9,000 people live in Bee Cave. The city has tons of outdoor attractions and natural beauty that bring in thousands of visitors every year.
You can still visit the historic cave that gave the city its name today. Bee Cave is also home to a sculpture park, the Hamilton Pool Preserve, and scenic Lake Travis.
Some of the most notable landmarks in Bee Cave include:

What Does It Cost To Hire a Personal Injury Lawyer in Travis County, TX?
In most cases, Texas personal injury lawyers work on a contingency fee basis. This means that they don’t charge you an up-front fee for their services. Instead, they take their fee from the money they recover in your case.
Most personal injury lawyers charge a 33 percent contingency fee, although that can vary in some cases. For instance, if they can get your settlement just by sending a letter to the insurance company, they may only take a 25 percent fee. But if they have to take your case all the way to trial, that fee could go up to 40 percent.
Statute of Limitations in Texas Personal Injury Cases
In most Texas personal injury cases, you have a limited amount of time to file a compensation claim. You can’t claim compensation for injuries that happened twenty years ago. This time limit is called the statute of limitations, and you must file your claim before it passes or your case won’t be heard in court.
In Texas, the statute of limitations on personal injury cases is two years. This means that you have two years after an accident to file a claim for damages. Two years may seem like a lot of time, but it can fly by without you noticing, especially if you’re recovering from injuries.
